Self-care (and healthy living in general) is a balance between these main areas of life:
Physical
Spiritual
Emotional
Social
Psychological/Personal Growth

I have written some self-care activities for each of these areas. Remember it is all about balance! Picture a wheel and each of these areas being a section of the wheel. Imagine one of the sections is off. The wheel will be deformed and it will be harder to move forward. So figure out which area you need more of in your life and try to implement one or more of the self-care activities listed underneath into your routine. A good goal to have is to do one thing for each category every day!

  • Go for a run
  • Take a walk
  • Plan balanced meals
  • Make a yummy healthy smoothie
  • Go to the gym
  • Do yoga
  • Go to bed early
  • Drink 8 cups of water throughout the day

  • Read spiritual books
  • Pray
  • Meditate
  • Spend time in nature

Psychological/Personal Growth
