Have you ever heard a song and just wanted to SCREAM IT while driving with your windows down? Have you ever heard a song and instantly felt like you could go to the gym, make those dreaded phone calls, go shopping for that stuff you’ve avoided buying for weeks, finish 10 books, write a book, and still go out with friends that night?
Well, here are eight songs that may give you that exact sensation.

1. Live Like A Warrior- Matisyahu

This is my absolute favorite “sing obnoxiously loud” anthem. (I do a lyric analysis of this song and talk about negative thinking in my video here.)

2. Survivor- Destiny’s Child

I mean seriously how could this song not be on this list? It’s a reminder that after all the stuff you’ve gone through you’re still a strong independent fighter who don’t need no man. (Or woman.)

3. Anything Could Happen- Ellie Goulding

THE WORLD IS A PLACE FULL OF WONDERFUL ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. If you need to be reminded of that just blast this song and sing your wonderful little heart out.

4. I Lived- OneRepublic

I love the message in this song SO MUCH. It’s all about the whole of your life experiences- wonderful, terrible, exciting, depressing- are proof of you being human and being alive. So take those risks! Step out of your comfort zone! Eat that whole pizza by yourself! (Not really… but you get the idea.)

5. Roar- Katy Perry

This song is a reminder to stand up for yourself! You are worth every good thing that comes to you so start acting like it. *tough love*

6. Shake It Out- Florence + The Machine

This song is my jam you guys. Lyrics like “It’s always darkest before the dawn” and “It’s hard to dance with the devil on your back so shake him off.” Yes Florence, just yes. Not only are the lyrics awesome but it just SOUNDS COOL.

7. Brave- Sarah Bareilles

This song reminds me that my voice is worth hearing! Stop holding in all of your wonderful thoughts and opinions and just SAY WHAT YOU NEED TO SAY!

8. Don’t Stop Believin’- Journey

It would be a disgrace to not include this song.
